These lines are depicted on VFR sectional charts with their values. East is least -, West is best +. MCA - Minimum Controllable Airspeed MCP - Maximum Continuous Power MLS - Microwave Landing System MSL - Mean Sea Level NDB - Non-directional beacon NOTAM - Notices to Airmen - can be found by calling flight service or through other sources such as duats OAT - Outside Air Temperature OGE - Out of Ground Effect PAN, PAN, PAN - Pilot Assistance Needed. Usually announced over the emergency frequency of 121.5 when the pilot is in distress.
